Last I checked, Old Dominion doesn't play in the SEC. They were still a FCS team in 16.

You really think the SEC wants to have targeting court every week after every penalty?

What does that matter? Still under the NCAA. It's an NCAA rule not an SEC one.

That's some hard core bama dick riding right there. I would ask if your arse is sore but you Aggies apparently enjoy it.

Bottom line is LSU @ home is the only chance Bama loses a game. Their schedule to date has been poo poo, LSU has beaten one of the best defenses in the SEC in Moo State, and UGA. Everyone knows LSU could absolutely Beat Bama, and the reason fans are pissed is because the officials took one of the best LSU players on defense out of the game for a half of football. All i can say is that Bama better pray it’s not close at halftime when White comes back cause it’s gonna be tough for them after that with our D at full strength and a very hostile environment.

I hope they do. Lord knows we will all hear about how White would have kept the gumps from winning by 4 TDs.

Even before LSU ever had a player suspended under the targeting rules, I thought they were too extreme. I've always been a proponent of treating them similarly to flagrant fouls in basketball. First offense for non-egregious targeting calls is a 15 yard penalty. Two offenses in the same games warrants an ejection. For an egregious foul with intent to injure and/or a "non-football play" would warrant an ejection.

I think if the suspension is overturned it may benefit everyone in the NCAA taking a look at this rule for possible modification in the off-season, which is something I think fans of any team could get behind because we've all had these calls go against players on our team that seemed overboard based on the play.

And for clarity's sake, I am not in the sky-screaming crowd that thinks this has anything to do with Alabama or any other conspiracies. I am in the crowd that disagrees with the call made on the field and will leave it at that.

LSU: "The SEC Office is full of gumps! Bama colludes with the SEC to screw LSU!"

Also LSU: "We're going to take our case to the SEC and get them to overturn White's suspension."
