They are counting the 20-plus games Alabama had to forfeit due to NCAA sanctions.

Should have 1990 listed as vacated.

Officially recognized wins

We are good enough to not need to count shenanigans. Other teams have had vacated wins as well

1.Michigan(935-332-36).731
2.Notre Dame(896-320-42).729
3.Boise State(428-159-2).728
4.Ohio State(885-321-53).724
5.Alabama(875-326-43) .721

Not last!

94. Vanderbilt (593-606-50)--0.49480 [41]
95. Kentucky (597-612-44)--0.49401 [42]

Suck on that .00079% difference, Kentucky. Suck on it hard.

The main reason you should count forfeited and vacated wins and shite is because that is completely subjective NCAA crap.

Every single major program would have hundreds of vacated wins if everything that ever happened was known.

NCAA probation and penalties are mostly a function of who got caught, not a function of actual rule breaking.

The penalties are also all over the place. Some teams get a slap on the wrist for something, and then another team gets hammered for it, etc.

As such, the only thing that matters is what actually happened on the field.

I see the footnote, but I'm not sure this applies to us. That said, I don't disagree. The NCAA can vacate games officially all it wants, but that doesn't change the fact that the games were played and, for the most part, never involved a team gaining a substantial on-field advantage. The NCAA is just the official tally-keeper -- it has no say in how everyone else chooses to handle the games. I say, count 'em unless a provable on-field advantage occurred in the process of whatever violation is being punished.

This happened weeks ago. Didn't bother to mention it because Alabama fans tend to be annoying, and it's not official.

Curious. Florida has won 9 SEC titles in football including the 1 vacated.

1984 (vacated)
1991
1993
1994
1995
1996
2000
2006
2008

What years were the other 2?

1985 and 1990. On the field, remember?

Gumps can't go five minutes without talking about family relationships. Is incest really that big of a deal in Alabama?

Also note, many teams, especially from the former SWC, had been ordered by the NCAA to forfeit games, but never changed the official record.

Not sure why Bama pretends games never happened when other schools don't.

07 fsu, we sat 5 possible ineligible players, fsu said frick you and played almost 30 ineligible. I absolutely do not recognize that outcome, at all.

The reason Bama counts the forfeits and vacated games is because that's what most teams do when the NCAA orders them to. Your first paragraph is mostly hooey, BTW. Texas Tech is the only SWC team to not apply NCAA ordered forfeits, or vacated games.
