After years of SEC Rant Assholery board domination, it's like they have left us to join the Southland Conference or something. What gives? For a team that won a conference title in something called the Southwest Conference (look it up) as recently as the 1980's this is shocking. Has anybody done a wellness check on Fat Bert lately? Is the pain of winning only 35% of their games against LSU, including last year's 38-10 massacre in which the entire defense miraculously pulled a hamstring on the same play, finally catching up to them? What can be done to pull the swine out of their sad malaise before it is too late?

they know their coach fricking sucks and got dad dicked by LSU last season. at their place. with an interim coach. with a hurt fournette.

Im actually pretty hyped. Im sure fatty will screw it up somehow, but, we have a stud qb, stud tb, stud wr, stud TEs, a salty OL, and the best OC in the SEC (Canada may eclipse him though). If we can play decent defense, we will finish ~3rd. If we play defense like the year before last (shut out lsu (top 20), shut out Ole Piss (top 10), and held Texas to their lowest offense output in over 100 years (59 yards total offense) ) than look out. Put that defense with last year's offense and we would have won the west.
And, seriously. Had we not shat the bed vs Mizzou and VaTech (and, come on. we had those games won to the point their own fans had changed the damn channel or left the game) , that was a 9 win team. What would the predictions be if it was a 9 win season instead of a 7 win one?

I think a lot of us are still hung over from the way shite ended last year.
Pretty optimistic about this team, but it's a tempered optimism. Gotta see something out of these guys.
Of course, we could go the Tennessee/LSU route and claim our team is going to dominate this year, but that shite is stupid.

Our defense had very poor leadership and had given up on the system and the DC. Nobody was trying to play for him.
