It really depends on what you mean by the "next step".

Allen should be good enough to get them 8 or 9 wins. That's a really nice step up after the last three seasons. It gets the program some positive momentum to use in recruiting. 9 wins is a very successful year for the current Hogs program.

You're not winning championships without a great QB play. That is what they need to start talking about playoffs.

ARKANSAS had 2 SEC wins last year. You may not know this, as evidenced by your incessant stupidity, but there is more than 1 player on the field for each team. And, typically, those players aren't the ones calling the plays or formations.

Brandon Allen was serviceable last year. How will we improve? Brandon Allen continues his trajectory of getting better ( indisputable). We no longer have Jim Chaney calling incredibly stupid plays at inopportune times. We will have a better receiving corp. We will have better OL.

Of course, to me, next step is something akin to a 8-10 win season. I'm not expecting an SEC championship season. Maybe that's your definition?

To be fair, 10 of those TDs came in non-conference games.

8 of those 20 came against Nicholls State, Northern Illinois, & UAB.

And all 5 INTs came in conference play for a 2:1 TD to INT ratio against SEC foes.

Also threw 3 of his TD's vs UGA in trash time... 2 in the 3rd qtr after getting down 38 to 6 & another in the 4th qtr when the score was 45-19...
Also threw 2 int's in the game...

With Ferguson, Rape cover ups, Michael Sam's open mouth draft kiss, and that horrible thing you call a stadium, I would think a Mizzou fan would have their hands full.
