You can't sit there ant tell me you watched every play of every game and think Chubb runs with more power. Its not true and it cheapens your opinion to lie like that.

IF you watched every game then you could see the night and day difference between Fournette against Wisconsin and Fournette against Notre Dame. Not the same player.

And don't fricking sit there and tell me that Chubbs didn't benefit form a significantly better offense. Against Wisconsin we didn't open a hole to run through until the 4th quarter. Against Arkansas we didn't do anteing. This are statistically Fournette's 2 worst game, and there isn't much he could have done differently in them.

Doesn't matter. We are going to have to figure out a way to melt the heisman into 3 pieces for Barnett Harris and Ridley

No, not the best. UGA normally gets that with the whole "At least we made it to Atlanta!" thing, but big bro Mizzou keeps bringing you guys down lately

***Disclaimer: LSU is one of the SEC teams I don’t hate

If Mizzou takes an arse beating 34-0 from “Little Brother”, what do we call the spankings Bama puts on the Tigers every year? Or what about the team that curbed stomped y’all 41-7? Before you ask, UGA beat them like dead mule. Or better yet that team north of you who completely embarrassed you 17-0? Honest question here. I’ll give you time to come up with a witty post.

LSU fans are delusional. If Chubb didn’t run ape shite on everyone, do you think UGA’s offense would have been “significantly better”? Chubb burned a pretty good Arky D for over 200 yards. Why couldn’t Fournette carry the load? Every team knew Chubb was going to run the ball. That is a fact, supported by constant 8 men in the box. We didn’t have the most efficient passer in SEC history behind center anymore. We had a 5th year senior, who was asked to play game manager.

Jesus you people are dense. You can’t make an argument that player X is better than player Y, because I watched them play. There are stats that support Chubb being the better back RIGHT NOW. Don’t be proud, you come off as desperate. Fournette is a really good player, but he doesn’t compare what Chubb accomplished last year. And there is no need to respond to my post, geaux to ESPN.com and look at the stats. It will answer every question you have.

Potential... Doesn't Win Games !
1,500 yards is better than 1,000

I think it's pretty close. Would love to see what Hurd can do behind a capable offensive line. Both are stars in the making.

No, but UGA did have a top-ten ranked pass efficiency rating nation wide.

LSU did not.

There are some great young RB's in SEC. Its going to be cool to watch them the next few years. We should revisit this thread after next year. I have a feeling the responses may be a little different.

Do you think Chubb has the states he had last year if he played LSU against 8-9 boxes every carry?

We should compare their freshman seasons again in a year? Somehow I don't think the stats will change.

In general, LSU's inferiority complex regarding the Chubb/Fournette "debate" (using the term very liberally there) is mostly funny but also makes me sad because I like most of you guys on here and respect almost all of your posts. No one said LF had a bad season by any means - I think everyone can agree that he had a fantastic season. But on no level was he on par with what Chubb did.

Cant wait to see Hurd with an improved O-line. Him in the open field is going to be scary for opposing d-cordinators.

Of course Chubb runs with (a lot) more power. Holy shite, if Fournette ran with more power than Chubb I do believe he might've at least hit the two yard per carry average against Arkansas.

You LSU people are endlessly entertaining on this.

There is no one saying Chubb didn't have a better year, and I think Chubb was the better player last year. I am saying you could see Fournette close the gap towards the end of the year, and it should be interesting to see how they play next year. You want to talk desperate is how scared UGA fans to even admit that Fournette played as well as Chubb at the end of the season.
