Mizzou is the clear odds on favorite to be not only the worst team in SEC basketball but achieve a historic streak of failure.

They had the leagues most complete team Tennessee on the rope for the first thirty minutes before Knecht and Tennessee decided to hit their shots spoiling a shocking first conference win.

They go to Bud Walton to face an Arkansas team that is talented but playing quite awful. That game this Saturday or the future one at home against Ole Miss seem the most likely chances to avoid the goose egg.

Vanderbilt has two conference wins. They have two games against Florida, one against Kentucky, and one against LSU. They also go to Arkansas. They should have enough to avoid tying Mizzou.

Arkansas with four conference wins is well out of reach and are playing much better as of late, and yes I mean that because the bar was on the floor so yes much better.

Gonna be funny to go from worst to first next year. I think thats what we're trying to do here. Makes for better story.

Shoot we were trying to do that, or something similar.

butttt we got 40 pieced and lost to LSU...combine that with Nate Oates running a shady program and the officials not calling them for obvious flagrants and that dream died

Mizzou does has a top 5 recruiting class

so if they go 0-fer and some of you are wondering why Dennis Gates stays that is your reason why

It's true

we are shady, top of the league most conference wins over the past four years, but quite shady

it pains me so that all this basketball success came at such a high price

Even with the class coming in, gonna have to get a few portal players or next year could be messy.

goes without saying

Mizzou will be aggressive in the portal and I think a lot of chips will be pushed in next year

If our team will focus, I think we can do this!

If this were a Beerfest-style drinking contest, I'd be interested. In fact, I might even be the MVP of the Mizzou team.

At this point, it's hard to turn away from the train crash. I don't understand how they are quite this bad.

No. Gates has a $25million buyout. That would be why.
