The backlash would only serve as additional fuel for the Alabama team IMO.
Ya know...us vs the world mentality.

However I have come to the conclusion that after okie states drubbing of okie that the pollsters will give the nod to okie state.

I'm good with it because I will get much satisfaction in seeing okie state getting blown out and reminded why they play pop Warner ball in the little 12 compared to big boy ball in the sec.

My experience is that most people around the country really like Alabama... and I've been lots of places. It's in the SEC that our team gets the most backlash. I think most reasonable people realize that as fans, if your team finds a way to the BCSCG, you take it. There isn't any backlash for LSU from 2003 or 2007, and each of those championships were full of controversy and drama too. Just maybe not to LSU fans.

If people want to react against the system, that's another thing. They can go read Death to the BCS and get all of the ammunition they need.

Yep. LSU gets off the hook. From my perspective of "fairness" I won't complain either when it happens.
