What does Nick Saban's "Process" look like if he hasn't recruited like this. . .

2008 - #1 Class
2009 - #1 Class
2010 - #5 class
2011 - #1 class
2012 - #1 class

Give me a break, all the "Process" is, is being a friggin' recruiting machine.

If you buy into the whole "not looking at the scoreboard" bullcrap then you're a fool.

I believe that under Carroll USC had a similar run in recruiting yet only won one title in a much easier conference.

There's more to it than just recruiting. You have to develop the players and get them to buy in to what it takes to win.

Auburn had 4 or 5 top ten classes in a row and won three games this year.

I guarantee you that Nick Saban works harder than any other active college coach and in return so do his players.

I guess you're not familiar with Bryant's quote on recruiting. And leave the McRib out of this.

Recruiting is it, and only it.

I don't know what the hell he told those guys in 2008 to get the #1 class after sucking for a decade.

"The Process" is workin' a hell of a lot better than "Da Fambuly"...

Obviously its purely recruiting though. Thats why Mack Brown and Texas are on that Juggernaut roll they're on...oh wait.

Pete Carrol won a title in 2003 (the AP title), they were the best team. He won a title in 2004. He was a few plays away from winning 3 straight in 2005.

Auburn had 3 top ten classes and a good chunk of those players went pro or got kicked off the team. Out off all the five stars we signed in the 2010 class (Cam, Dyer, Coleman) none of them played this year.
