LSU vs South Carolina Football Game To Be Played In Baton Rouge
quote:
Due to unprecedented flooding in South Carolina, the LSU versus South Carolina football game has been moved to Tiger Stadium this Saturday. Kick-off is still to be determined. {LSU & South Carolina Will Kickoff At 2:30pm CT On Saturday}
Although moving the game to Baton Rouge presents an opportunity for our members to enjoy yet another day in Tiger Stadium, please remember that this opportunity results from a devastating and wide-spread natural disaster, billions of dollars in property damage and the tragic loss of life. So while we ask that you enjoy the game, we also ask that you keep the people of South Carolina in your prayers.
{Edit: Tickets to the game will be sold by LSU for the remainder of the week to the following members of the LSU fan base and then the general public.
All proceeds generated from ticket sales, minus the expenses that LSU incurs for hosting the game, will be given to South Carolina.
The American Red Cross will also be collecting donations at the gates of Tiger Stadium on Saturday for those victims of the flooding in South Carolina.}
Having so little time to prepare for this event, there will be a number of changes and even some slight inconveniences to our normal gameday routines. Please take note of the following:
Tickets
Tickets are not part of your season ticket package and must be purchased separately. Season ticket holders can log into their LSU Ticket Office online account to purchase tickets for this game. Please visit www.lsutix.net to find out additional information on ticket protocols for this weekend's game.
Parking
To access reserved parking, you will need to present your pass for the LSU versus Western Kentucky game. Please remember that you will need to retain your parking pass for the Western Kentucky game. Please do NOT tear off the bottom portion of your parking pass this weekend.
Food and Beverage Service
There will be limited concessions available in the stadium. Although food and beverage service will be available in premium seating areas, food service will involve a limited pre-determined menu of gameday items.
LSU Tailgate Party in the PMAC
Because gameday staff may be limited, we will not be able to host the LSU Tailgate Party and no access will be allowed to the PMAC on gameday.
Allow Extra Time
Because the game is being scheduled on short notice and our full complement of gameday personnel may not be available, please allow additional time to access parking areas and the stadium. LSU will work hard to ensure a smooth operation and we appreciate your patience with any delays in traffic, parking or game entrance procedures. For all of the latest on the gameday changes, please visit www.lsusports.net.
