SC got robbed worse than the cashier at the Circle K in north Baton Rouge with some of those "offensive fouls"

6 point deficit against UCONN is like being down 20 to anyone else.

Lol refs.
Uconn blocks a shot and they call it out on us

USC playing this tough to UCONN this late on the road is a W, no matter the outcome.

Well, South Carolina was sort of in this game until the middle of the 3rd.
That deserves some props.

Insight into our team's coaching staff:
UConn has been successful for 15-20 years. It is sort of a "thing" with Auriemma's teams over the years that they turn up the heat in the 2nd and 3rd qtrs, or, when it used to be halves instead of quarters, they would turn up the heat at the end of the 1st half, and come out firing at the start of the 2nd half. Same thing.
So, two things here: at the end of the 2nd Qtr./1st half, with USC leading 29-28, they have 4 turnovers in the final 2:27 and UConn goes on a 7-0 run to lead 35-29 into halftime. Momentum: UConn. The USC staff even has Bianca-Cuevas-Moore, who's not the best passing guard we have on the team, hold the ball down by 4 in the closing seconds, and STAND STILL!
STAND STILL!
STAND STILL!
Against UConn, to try to wait down the clock for the final shot attempt. UConn tried TWICE to press and steal the ball - Dangerfiled fouls Cuevas-Moore the first time, then they try it again, and force the TO, and scores at the other end to take the 6 pt lead.
Not the brightest coaching right there, I gotta tell ya....
Then sure enough, we come out for the 2nd half not ready to play, and the UConn 6-pt. lead at the start of the 3rd Qtr. is a 12-pt. lead at the start of the 4th...
The Gamecocks played their hearts out and gave it their best shot: amazingly, neither Davis nor Gray scored much, combining for 10 pts when really each needed to score AT LEAST 10 pts tonight for us to have a chance. Coates only took 6 shot attempts, mostly off of offensive put-backs. The team tried some new sets and rotations with and without the ball that I'm positive came from Melanie Balcomb, and it gave us more effective drives to the basket, but the game was all about coaching more than anything else....

I'm sure she'll fix this mistake by the time she takes over UCONN. You've got to learn somewhere.

Even if it may or may not be legit( didn't see game), if I'm the SC HC, I tell my troops you warred em great at their place , when they had the motivation for win mark, and that when we see them on a neutral floor next month, that we're gonna shock the world and beat em..on way to winning it all!
