Mizzou is every bit as good of a program as Tamu. In fact they are nearly identical programs. Mizzou has had more success in the last decade than Tamu and have owned them head to head in their last 6 meetings.
No team in the SEC, not even Bama, would of had a successful season if they missed their starting QB for half the games, and the other half he played less than 100%, and losing almost the entire starting O-line.
Now we're looking at potentially having a 7 win season with all of our problems. Not too bad considering.

Well using past experiences we will beat A&M and Syracuse to finish the season 7-5 and we played the hardest non-conference schedule and the hardest conference schedule this year. We had an injured QB all year long and horrible play calling so 7-5 is acceptable this year only
