I will add one thing though, rational thought tells me it is more likely than not that he did do it.
My best guess is he wanted some extra money to party his balls off like a big shot while he was in Miami and this opportunity presented itself. I don't think it really matters how much his parents have as I doubt he would say hey mom and dad, I need an extra $10k to party balls deep here. The strippers and whores don't know who the hell I am and they want to see the green and I need some extra if my dick is gonna get wet with all the insanely hot latin women I keep seeing around here.
