Dude, the Braves were below .500 at this time last year and needed a double digit winning streak to get back into the NL playoff picture recently and are still looking up at the Mets. Just be thankful you didn't have to face STL last year, because we all know how that turns out.

If I remember correctly, a nice little sweep in St Louis is what got us goinf. Remember when you guys used to do stuff like that in the playoffs after winning 87 games?

That doesn't even make sense. Unless, of course, you are referring to NL Central Houston of the 90s and 2000s, which would make more sense because (a) they always lost in the playoffs and (b) that was the last time St Louis was a year in year out World Series contender.

Good luck to the Cards the rest of the way. I think there is a legit chance you find a way to get Soto if Mozelaik will pull the trigger on Walker, Carlson and Liberatore and DeWitt will pay Soto. I'm sure Soto would love playing there and sign an extension. Would make for a terrifying 2-3-4.
