quote:Bama-UT are going to play every year. It is a traditional rivalry. For about 50 years, they were the two powers in the SEC. Guess what, Auburn and Georgia are going to play every year also. I know you don't understand rivalries.
If you think the very fact that there is a permanent opponent at all isn't part of this "Myth" then you're just not thinking very critically.
So the evidence that Alabama's favorable schedule was intentional is a lack of holding calls on Alabama, and a controversial interception call in the LSU game?
The argument is that Alabama gets highly favorable officiating, which, coupled with Alabama's easier schedule in the SEC for the past two years, leads you to conclude that there must be pro-Bama SEC leaders who ensure that Bama wins?
Did I put your argument together fairly?
I have no idea what you are talking about, I didn't post that in any way shape or form
these games were hand picked and chosen, and Alabama got the easiest draw and LSU got the hardest two years in a row...there is no "luck of rotation" involved.
My position is clear: Alabama benefited from a favorable schedule this year, but it was not due to any intention to favor Alabama by anyone in the SEC.
quote:Sounds good. We're going to be the best team in the country in 2013, so we're not worried. We could slip up and lose, having a slightly tougher schedule makes that more likely.
OK just let an LSU guy who grew up in baton Rouge and used to work for LSU, amybe a few family members who played there, and member of TAF do your schedule for a few years.
What the hell that's me. I will Deaux it. Send me the packet!
No one wants or cares to read all that shit
quote:They don't? Well if that's the case, that's clearly your own fault, as you're the one who posted those.
Your posts make no sense together. Serious question, can you even read?
quote:Ah, so you admit to whining about LSU having a tougher schedule.
ETA: and no, I didn't "imply" that Bama had an easier schedule than LSU two years in a row...I said it. Its a fact SC & UGA are tougher than Mizzou & Kentucky...no reason to imply anyhing...
Ah, so you admit to whining about LSU having a tougher schedule.
