Just ask Toby Gerhart when he lost to a lesser running back in Mark Ingram

Toby Gerhart - 1871 rushing yards, 28 TDs
Mark Ingram - 1658 rushing yards, 17 TDs (Played in 1 more game as well)

Joe Dudek was robbed

Gerhart would have been a fullback on 2009 Bama. Fight me

Well he will this year. Nix has it wrapped up.

Gerhart had like 343 rushing attempts.

Ingram had like 158.

Unfortunately this is true

McFadden and Peyton come to mind

I have succumbed to the fact that a good outing for Nix will likely result in him winning, even tho he’s the “dink and dunk” king

Peyton Manning lost to a defensive player. Defensive player won the Heisman for the first time ever.

Tim Tebow- 2008

Wut?

I mean these are full season numbers but Bradford had like 1300 more yards and nearly 15 more touchdowns.

Tebow had more 1st place votes than Bradford. Also he played significantly tougher comp than Bradford and had significantly more rushing yards than Bradford. Their Pro Careers didn’t turn out much different other Tebow actually winning a playoff game. If Nix wins the Heisman, it will be the same reason Bradford won it. The demographics of voters favor the west

Oklahoma is the West?

You can pull the tougher competition card if the numbers are similar but not when Tebow got lapped like that.

Tebow definitely didn't get robbed in 2008, you're just a homer.

Why did Tebow get the most 1st place heisman votes, win the Maxwell, and the Manning award, but not winnthe heisman if he wasn’t robbed?

None of that is evidence of being "robbed."

It's also hard to compare players of one position to another.

I think anyone who isn't a troll or hater can agree that JD5 not winning the Heisman simply because Bo has a better defense would be a robbery.

Does this sound familiar? Jayden vs Nix

and had significantly more rushing yards

Again do the comparison, Jayden vs Nix

If Nix wins the Heisman,

Then they should change the criteria because it's not about the best player in college football.

Johnny Musso definitely deserved it over Pat Sullivan in 1971. Luckily, his Tide put a beat down on Sulivan’s Tigers.

That is all evidence of him being robbed. More voters voted him 1st than any other Candidate, but he placed 3rd in the “total votes”. I have a brain and watch as much college football as I can, so I agree that JD5 should win the Heisman. He should honestly win it by a landslide. However, the voters don’t watch a lot of college football and favor P12, B12 schools, and selective stats. They play this game called follow the follower.
