For Tennessee, with the Bama thing, and the Florida thing, and as long as the Old Ball Coach was coaching, Tennessee fans for so many DECADES were this:



Now Spurrier is retired, the Vols beat Florida, and every Vol fan is this right now, except with a mustache and a mullet:




I guarantee you that kid is the son of the guy who yelled at me back in 1994 in Neyland at the Tennessee/Alabama game, when he realized I wasn't rooting for anyone in particular in that game (until he yelled at me for it, and so then I started rooting for Bama just to piss him off)

the kid in the gif is the spitting image of that 5'10, 135 pound guy with the mustache and mullet and scornful Mt Dew type face. Factory worker probably. The type who was always going to whip the Little League coach's arse for not playing his kid enough, unless the coach was standing right there (not gonna say shite if the coach is standing right there)


But 22 years later, wherever that guy is, whoever that guy is, I'm happy for him. I'm glad his blood pressure has finally hopefully subsided. Whoever he was, I wish him calmness and joy. I want to apologize to him now for yelling Roll Tide down three flights of bleachers after he didn't like hearing I was just a Razorback fan bystander at that game, that Alabama won - I think it was nine in a row
