Thank you for the history lesson. So the question begs, is it better to beat a bad team or lose to them? All you can do is play your next opponent. Was he supposed to lose to some of those teams deliberately to make himself look worse?
You conveniently left out a win over Michigan, a win over NC State, WF, a conference champion Rice as well. To be fair we also lost to NW and GT in bowl games as well.
So we can play that game as well but none that will determine the outcome of Saturday's game against UGA.

Haha I actually enjoyed this post so have an up vote. Now do MSU's record just like that but for the previous 8 years before Mullen came on board. Oh and don't forget that Mullen has a resume of QBs under his wing that includes Alex Smith, Josh Harris, Chris Leak, Tim Tebow, Cam Newton (1 yr), Dak Prescott and Nick Fitzgerald. i don't think you'll be able to find a better QB producer in the entire country with a better resume than that.

I find it funny odd that so many State fans hang their hat on a midseason ranking. I've never seen a fanbase do it after the fact.
