I live in the Raleigh area. Gottfried's NC State career trajectory is mirroring his stint at Alabama pretty closely. He had them in the tournament his first few years, and everyone loved him. The last couple of years expectations were high, yet the team has tanked, despite having some All-ACC-caliber players. There is almost no depth due to recruiting misses, and local sports radio complains about a lack of movement on the offensive end. Yet there is almost no pressure on him, it seems. It's weird.

The only pressure on CMG is the pressure he puts on himself to get all the young strange he can.
