Same place they were in 2018. Miracles do happen and LSU got one - but they don't last long. LSU's Cinderella season is over and their high flying offense has turned back into a rotten pumpkin.

I don't have to say it anymore. LSUs history is replete with $hitty coaches who have one good season only to begin to decline the next season and get fired a few $hitty seasons later. Tua didn't practice for 3 weeks after the surgery on his left ankle and still almost won the game behind a defense starting 5 True Freshmen after losing 5 starters including 2 probable All Americans.
Alabama was the best and most talented team. Injuries finally got us - and LSU squeaked out a 4 point win. What do you think would have happened if Burrow had suffered the same ankle injury as Tua? Nevermind - lying to yourself is the LSU way.

If Alabama and LSU had played that game both teams at full strength LSU loses by 10 or more.
