it was bizarre. I thought it wierd when miles and sumlin hugged for about 5 minutes and then miles hollered for chief and went and hugged on him for awhile.

as far as keeping him you have to understand Louisiana politics for it to make sense to you. it's not that texas politics is not just as weird it's that Louisiana only has one principle university and a population of about 4 mil. it seems that the university president and the governor stepped in. come to think of it, it was like when y'all first tried to come to the SEC years ago and the Texas legislature threatened to cut your funding off. so I guess you would understand it.

It was weird. You could tell that Les had no idea if he was getting fired or not.

I guess it is too much to hope that Les will learn something from this and stay out of the offense.

Beating the Aggies every year isn't good enough, it's a given

A&M's new narrative is that LSU is happy beating them because no competitive narrative exists for them. They scored 7 points against Steele. Weren't they all hung up on the 70 points WVU put on him? Glad to see your offensive wunderkind headcoach could get 10% of that output. Enjoy thinking we care about this game. Hopefully, that will make the sting of the avalanche of losses feel better.

Yes, because being 8-3 and 4th in the West is so much better than 8-4 and 5th in the West. We both suck.
