What is the issue with that? Named after a legendary Choctaw Chief who had a fated encounter with DeSoto somewhere in the area. Tushka Lusa, was his name which means Black Warrior in Choctaw.

Yes, and I’m calling that shtik annoying. It’s been annoying since I first started lurking on here and experienced it in 2013.
I think you guys think it’s endearing because arkansus is a conference-wide object of pity. It’s not endearing.
