I will admit... while they get a bit tiresome when you are on your third or fourth one of the day... the GN/LSU4Life cyber stalking of the Aggies is amusing. Creepy in a, he might be going through Sumlin's trash to find used undies to sniff, sort of way, but still amusing.

Sherman was a great offensive judge of talent but his philosophy is what got him canned. Time and time again, just tried to sit on a lead conservatively. I think it's premature to compare Sumlin to Sherman but we will know a lot more upon the seasons completion. We just lost to the current #1 and #3 and Sumlin has never lost a game we were favored so all this mass hysteria type bullshite is laughable, but we'll see 6 weeks from now what we are really made of right now.

We were favored against Ole Miss. At least when it opened we were.

Aggie coaches and the NFL.
The two entities are so often synonymous.
Why does Leslie Miles' name never come up in such discussions?

Aggies, how do you think Sherman would have done in recruiting if ya'll were in the SEC doing his tenure? I personally think it would have been scary with his talent evaluation and development strengths. JMO, nothing against Sumlin.

Probably pretty terrible. He found some nice three star type recruits but we struck out on basically every elite recruit under him except Matthews Joeckel and Michael

Sherman gets no credit for recruiting Manziel

Nor should he, he was grooming Jameil Showers to start in 2012 and was planning on moving Manziel to receiver.

Shane-With the SEC Brand behind him, I think Sherman would be a great recruiter. But then again, I don't know the inside of the Aggies program, just an outsider looking in here.

Sherman didn't want any part of the SEC. Neither did Byrne.

Sherman is a nice guy, but he has a very stiff personality. Just isn't built for motivating or recruiting.

Sherman was pretty strongly against us moving to the SEC, so I don't think he would have sold it nearly as well as Sumlin has. Our recruiting classes under him in the Big 12 were in 25-35 range so that's a huge jump to make just based on a conference move with no other factors changing

A lot of our recruiting success is owed to the 2012 season also, and there's no way we go 11-2 that year with Sherman at the helm

Is it because they didn't see the point in making a change in conferences to continue having 3rd place and worse divisional finishes?

I would take Sherman over Sumlin any day of the week & I'm being serious. It doesn't look like Sumlin is going to be a very good coach. His scheme ain't gonna work in the SEC.. Only reason it did his first 2 years was because of Johnny Football.

You may be correct, but it's still too soon to tell for sure. I'm not sold on him and the air raid but I'm old and old fashioned.

Gentlemen, this mildly annoying little troll doubtless has a dozen (or more) online Identities. Gold Nugget may be one of those identities or perhaps not. Does it really matter?

What matters is that some unresolved trauma has caused him to obsess over the Aggies. Personally, I suspect that TAMU put him on the wait list, and he ended up having to enroll in his safety school. Because Momma spent his entire youth telling him how very special he was, he feels certain that he was badly wronged.

Or maybe he is simply a bored 15-year-old

Either way, we can feed the obsession by "feeding the troll." Alternatively, we can ignore his inanity completely, or perhaps simply respond with a collective yawn.

In the latter case, I suspect that this persona will disappear soon, to be quickly replaced with another.

OP you are obsessed with A&M. You should have studied a lot harder and maybe you would have been able to go to school at A&M.
