OM isn't even in the zip code of being invited to join the AAU.

How about holding off on the smack talk until you actually have the credentials to do so?

BTW the MSU Engineering School is very well regarded in the business community.

You do understand that this is about research activity and not quality.

For example, asking a graduate student to figure out if high school students like Red Lobster more than other chain restaurants would be an example of a research activity.

Issues that might affect the quality of the research:
- fails to mention that closest Red Lobster is 50 miles away.
- limits research subjects to prospective football players.
- skews research results by giving out free gift cards for Red Lobster to study participants.

I didn't know what this all meant, and I wanted to be happy for Ole Miss. But Texas Tech moved up as well. So it's not like Ole Miss is in great company as far as great Universities are concerned. Tech academics are shite.

Thank for posting this. It has sparked my memory of a certain thread from 2012 that I will likely bring up tomorrow if I can get any time to start it.

Can anyone convince engie to come back for a day? Do we need WIO's blessing?

They're just trying to get people to stray away from all of the NCCA investigations into their "institute."

The roads and bridges in Mississippi speak volumes about the value of an Engineering Degree from Moo State.

Or, it could be the crappy politicians that ole miss puts out?

Granted, I live in Austin, but the #1 question ole miss folks ask me is, "would you like fries with that?"

How many times do they have to repeat that question so you can hear it over your mouth breathing?
