I wasn't there for the original when Florida beat FSU in 1997. But I was there last night. That play will go down in Gator history as one of the greatest plays of all time.

4th and 14. Freshman to Freshman. Down 13 with 4:08 left. Are you kidding me??

I now understand what UGA fans felt on "Run Lindsay Run".

It was an incredible game with an incredible atmosphere. I have newfound respect for Tennessee, Dobbs was a much better runner than I expected and they played much better than I thought they would. Great game, Vols.

This is a play that Gator fans will watch forever. Just a surreal feeling and a surreal game. I still can't believe it. That may have topped the 1997 FSU game as the Greatest Game Ever Played in The Swamp

You must've missed the game. Were you busy watching Arkansas choke almost as hard as Butch with a two score lead in the fourth quarter?

As far as great finishes, definitely right there in the top 3 somewhere.

The greatest game in the Swamp was against Bama in '99.

Was that game before or after #1 Florida lost to LSU in Tiger Stadium in 1997? I was at that game and it was glorious.

Atlgator you are showing your youth....you arent even old enough to be around when we beat the girls school in 1997? Come on...how can you say "greatest game" when your sample size is so small ? In 1997 we played the # 1 ranked team, toe to toe in a hard fought contest with 1/100th of the mistakes we made yesterday. Both teams were loaded with future NFL draft picks.

Dont get me wrong...yesterdays win was awesome...but in reality we had our butts handed to us and lucky to win. They ran all over us. Dobbs made our defense look silly and Hurd almost as good. I call it as I see it. We give up the yards we did on the ground...damn lucky to win.

We shut down their passing so they ran on us. Butchy puckered up and was scared to throw. Do you realize that we only forced 1 three and out according to my records after 1st qt? That was their possession after we cut lead to 27-21 and forcing that punt was almost as important as the long TD to Callaway.

you youngsters are forgetting about James Jones's behind the back goal line catch to beat Miami.I think 1982. I was about to leave the stadium but decided to watch it till the end.

There has been lots of football games won and lost that were exciting. We are damn lucky to win that game last night.

That being the greatest game ever (two bad teams) in the swamp sums up UF athletics

screw butch! Congrats on the win... but if thats your greatest play im sorry for you. When your greatest play is against a non ranked choke job tennessee team that isnt very impressive.

Long touchdown to beat your rival in the final minute of the game to keep your team undefeated. It's very similar actually
