We could also discuss how Mizzou's only touchdown was scored on an illegal pick play.

Bama owns SEC officials and has them trained like pet dogs.

Or that Hunt got away with an blatant push off on 3 of his 4 long catches.

Hmmmm. No counter to the argument that Fowler's forward progress was stopped?

Forward Progress was called, and you can't review forward progress calls. Otherwise, why bother tackling, just gang up and carry the running back all the way into the endzone for a safety.

But you CAN review when it was called. Which is when the whistle was blown and the ball was clearly out before that.

You must have pissed off LSU fans.

I don't see them coming in droves to "discuss" a referee call concerning Bama.

We didn't get beat 42-38. We got beat 42-13. You talked mountains of shite in the run up to the game. Now you've created a ref bitch thread 24 hours later. Just eat crow.

Lol, what? I came on here yesterday and congratulated them. I also clearly stated that I don't think it would have changed the outcome. It was a bad call, I was wondering why it wasn't reviewed.

I wasn't "shite talking" anymore than you did leading up to the game. No idea why you are so upset.

It wouldn't of changed the outcome of the game so why bother posting this? It makes ya look pretty lame.

The expert referee that helps commentary during the game started the whistle had not blown but play was considered dead due to forward progress being stopped.

Yeah, it's complete and totally bullshite for fhe refs to see a guy fumble the ball THEN blow the whistle and THEN AFTER THAT try to claim this forward progress was stopped and thus it can't be reviewed. I've seen plays go exactly like that one time and again over the years and never have I seen it go down like that. That type of play where the ball comes out BEFORE a whistle is blown is always either called a fumble without a review, especially when the guy is still straight straight fricking up, or they at least review it. Like I said earlier in this thread, this was jsut one of a long line of horrid calls going back to the start of this season and even seasons past that when you add them all up makes it clear that the SEC is a fricking joke when it comes to refs and officiating.

What is there to argue? The whistle indicates forward progress being stopped. There was a replay that clearly showed the ball was out before the whistle. It's pretty black and white.

I'm surprised so many of you won't admit it was a blown call. Unless I misunderstand the replay rules it would have 100%, no doubt been overturned.

The Fowler "fumble"? I think the inadvertent whistle got you guys on this one. I am very sorry JQ. You guys did deserve a better fate.

We're sorry video
