Vandy, unless the Fulmer Cup is overwhelmingly biased, again.

It has to be Vanderbilt. Not counting the rape charges out of deference to the victim's feelings is not only misguided (what about all the other victims of crime? don't they count?), but directly the opposite of what should be done if that's the motivation (saying "The crime against you doesn't count!" isn't deference, it's disrespectful).

And I'd be shocked if somehow another school topped what, four, five rape charges? Pretty sure gang rape is top-tier Thug POS territory

Really? That's where they draw the line? I have no problem with that rationale, but if you're going to care about the victims' feelings when making the list, either you care about all of them or you don't care about any of them. You don't cherry-pick which ones' pain you don't mind being entertained by. It's not like being curb-stomped by an LSU or Bama player is inherently funnier than being raped by a Vandy player. Of they don't have the stomach for it, they should man up and not do the list at all rather than be hypocrites.

The real question is "When will the Fulmer Cup rightfully be renamed the Meyer Cup?"

I think the fulmer cup boys might be laying off the Vandy case because of the seriousness of the whole thing, and rightly so. No need for that girl's grief to contribute to a stupid internet ranking.

Hasn't bothered them in the past. Prior Fulmer Cup notes:

2012 Temple Owls - 15 points - Aggravated assault, forcible rape, sexual assault, unlawful restraint and false imprisonment

2011 Miami Hurricanes - 14 points - Bathroom Disturbance, Rape

2010 Louisiana Monroe Warhawks - 4 points - Simple Rape

2008 Georgia Tech Yellowjackets - 8 points - Rape and Sodomy

2007 Minnesota Golden Gophers - 4 points - Rape

In the description of their points system it says, "Murder - 5 points, Rape - 4 points".

They certainly didn't appear to be concerned with contributing to the grief of the other victims.

That's all-time. Until the Vandy charges are tallied, Auburn has the single-season point record with 81: LINK

Edit: and if the Vandy charges aren't scored, then frick the Fulmer cup. What's the point if you don't count all offenses?

We still have a few hours remaining. We're not giving up until the final whistle.

Surely having a QB sit out for a half means something.....or does that count towards next year?

Have they not included the Vandy rape charges? If so, they win easily.
