He did seem to casually admit the texts were true, and that he made a mistake. In other words he doesn't sound disoriented at all.
All of this hinges on whether or not the texts were somehow real. otherwise the NCAA couldn't find anything the first round, and Tunsil will forever be remembered as a moron

While I believe he's that much of an idiot to be disoriented at a press conference, he straight up admitted to taking money.

Well now that you put it that way, I see where he's coming from. He was obviously confused about the questions and got them mixed up. Ole Miss has nothing to worry about as this is totally over blown.

They asked him twice, even asking him to clarify just to be sure they heard right. Now combine that with the screenshots and how can anyone deny this? And we are not talking about rogue coaches. These are high ranking athletic department people. It is the very definition of lack of institutional control at the highest level.
