You should call the NCAA because Florida is violating that rule.

I seriously doubt the holder is on scholarship. Put a little thought into it.

Oh, I know how UF works. My best friend was an All-American LB there. He got a brand new car a week after he signed at UF.

Well either they changed the rule or the kid is breaking it. They now let non-scholarship athletes eat at the training table, which they never did before, so they may have changed the working during the season rule also.

Great to see an athlete that has a moral compass! I am guessing he also is earning a degree while maintaining a good GPA.

He was accepted into UF's Medical School during the bye week.

Good man. Walk on kid who is paying his way through school or doing whatever he can to earn extra money. Future is bright for that guy. Some Florida alum will gladly hire him.

No it isn't. And it's never been. They can have a job so long as they are being paid the wage that is standard for the position the athlete has, and that if their employer is a booster...the employment is documented and there's a clear "arms length" transaction, if you will.

He also was accepted into med school last week. Definitely a good kid.

And he always remembers cans in the bottom, bread on top, detergents and cleansers in separate bags from the consumables.

That's the way I've always understood it...never cared enough to look it up though
