True. Everyone is afraid of Stifham plus Gus' renown for devolving QBs.

Edit: sorry Developing

Still can't beat UGA or Bama, so the best case scenario is 10-2

Happens every high profile signing. Eason was it last year. Kyler Murray the year before and so on. I just hope Stidham gives us a running threat and the ability to throw a deep ball. Who knows how he'll be but he's light years better talent than we have on the roster.

I know this, it really ends up the way everybody thinks it's supposed to end up

Hate to disappoint you. I had to go back and look up his stats to see what all the hubbub was about.

I haven't been this scared since Jeremy Johnson started his Heisman campaign.

Are you basing this off Big 12 defenses in only 3 games?

These situations are fun and pass the time. Anyone who pays attention knows Auburn was a QB able to complete a deep ball from winning 10 regular season games this year and being more competitive in the other 2 loses. If he can actually run and throw the deep ball things could get interesting next season for Auburn.

That being said White is a competitor and if JS doesn't show up to play he won't beat White out. Remember when Coker was going to save bama in 2014 and didn't sniff the field.

I can say LSU was too. We should have had 54 seconds on the clock vs AU, we lost by 3 to a good Wisconsin team, we got screwed by holding calls, and failed at execution in the UF game.

15 points total decided 4 games
3- Wisconsin
1 - AU
10- Gumps
1- UF

The same could have been said of what was a disastrous 2015 season for Auburn. We were in each game (save LSU) with almost zero QB play and average D play. The problem was we started 2016 with basically the same QB situation once it was obvious the coaches didn't believe JFIII was an option. Next season will be different, the results might not be. JS gives hope to the QB situation though I expect the defense to go backwards, slightly.

Yep, I wish Bama had a coach as capable of greatness as Malzahn.

Serious question- What is the plan with White for the next two years? Do they expect Stidham to start from day 1?

Curious if he will transfer

Seriously, who is this Stidham kid? He's not been on our board so I don't know anything about him and I can hardly look him up with only a last name.

Jarrett Stidham, was a 5 star recruit out of Texas in 2015. He went to Baylor, played very little as a freshman and quit after Briles was fired. He went to a CC this year but the only football he played was a scout team QB for a high school team.

Sumlin chose to recruit Kyler Murray over Stidham in 2015.
