It will be interesting to see who wins the spread versus the pro style battle for sure. I think Bulimia and Saban are trying to get the hurry up banned. They scared.

Arkansas needs DFW as a recruiting base, and the spread offenses there almost dictate Bielema needs to adapt. It confuses me why he thinks he can break the mold, but I don't think the Arkansas fans will put up with it for long.

You've got Hugh Freeze. You've got Sumlin. You've got Gus Bus. You've got Bielema's replacement. Alabama'a division is changing, and starting to overtake. When Saban adjusts, will he end the process?

Maybe when those guys win 3 out of 4, maybe then he will look at the process of the one that does that. But until then, they are all chasing the process.

I'm afraid to say this, but Telfawx (sp? don't care) might be to Alabama what Dale Denton is to LSU.

He's trying, that's for sure. I'm simply curious why he's not targeting a team with which A&M has more (negative) history.

A&M and Bama aren't exactly bitter rivals, after all.

I think I recall there being a certain coach at Florida that won the national championship twice running the spread that then got his beat 2 years in row by Bama

Seems like there have been a lot of good teams across the country running the spread, but Alabama has won 3 national titles in that span, Stanford won the Pac-12, and past few SEC east reps have all run a pro-style offense......Weird

Does he try to develop a star QB, instead of a bus driver?

The real crazies don't care. Arky was never a rival of ours...well you know all about LSU's lack there of.

Not me. I was stunned we won the game. AJ was hurt in the MSU game and he didn't look good against LSU, and even worse against TAMU. Also gotta say the play calling was poor in both games.

I have a sneaking suspicion that tRant will become SO TERRIBLE in the aftermath of that game, no matter the outcome, that I'll be taking a break from posting for a bit.

We'll see how it goes. If it turns into a massive flaming turd, we'll see how long the turd burns.

If it feels like it's going to keep smoldering into perpetuity, I might have to take a step back... maybe for a couple weeks. Maybe a week.

You want to see someone actually get shut down for a half, go back and watch 58-10 again.
