Georgia, Florida and Tennessee went a combined .417 in conference.

The last time they had a worse combined record in conference was 1977 when they went 0.333. Over 35 years ago.

Scar and Mizzou were in their(Fla and Tenn) place now, with all else the same, would the east still be considered down??

Not looking it up but I would say 2 teams in the top 8 is pretty consistent for the east, if not better than most years. It's just not the teams everyone is used to.
