We've won more against Bama. You keep counting points.

We put up more points against Alabama in one game than LSU did in 3?

see the Director's Cup

Okay, I looked.

Since the Director's Cup was created in 1993, LSU has finished in the top 10 6 times.

A&M has finished in the top 10 4 times.

Congrats on landing Pat Henry. We are quite familiar with him. But really, nobody gives a shite about track & field unless it brings in athletes that can play on the football team too.

It's exactly what sumlin is doing, but thanks to Saban, LSU has a 12 year head start on A&M. Had Saban gone to A&M in 2000 instead of LSU you guys would still be titty fighting with Ole Miss over which one is closer to relevance.

And thank God for you we had him and he went to the NFL, otherwise you too would be titty fighting with Ole Miss. Bama sucked prior to Saban too, You're an idiot.

Director's Cup

For the last four years, TAMU has been Top Ten every year. LSU has been Top Ten ... none.

As has been said elsewhere, TAMU is a program on the rise. LSU ... not so much.

I've always wondered what was it like attending a University with almost 60k? At LSU it was 28K when I was there and that was big enough

I suppose that having one decent football season in something like 70 years is being "on the rise," and granted, you've got a point scoring anomaly in Manziel and Sumlins' arena league offense, but once JFF is gone, and probably Sumlin a year or two after, you'll be sidling up to Ole Mis/Miss St., begging to be their rival, and looking forward to those games, and dreading the rest of the SEC schedule

Yes, you do. And you are beating us (by a smidge) on the academic measures also ... for now.

We understand and accept our limitations at any given point. No shame in losing to Alabama, especially when your defense just isn't up to par in any aspect yet.

Some prefer to be the VERY best at one or two things and to suck hind tit at everything else. Others prefer to be among the very best at absolutely everything.

I (and most Ags) prefer the latter.

You want to be the "very best at absolutely everything" without being the "best at one or two things"?

In the years leading up to Saban? Absolutely. They were painful. Historically? Bama is - and was before Saban - a top 5 all-time program and the best program in the history of the SEC.

Bama has 23 SEC championships. Only 2 of those are with Saban, but yeah. We "sucked" before him.

yeah and LSU is historically a very good program as well. Not as much as alabama but top 12 all time for sure.
