I'm not embarrassed at all. It was a closely fought game that we should've won, against the team that won the NC. It sucks but it's not embarrassing

Happens every time they lose a game, but here we sit and they are still the best team in the SEC.

Until they face a competent spread team.

I agree. Let's remember it was UGA they beat down though and UGA is one team that always folds when it matters.

AtM and LSU are going to be the real challenges. Not an UGA team that is more interested in winning the pregame festivities than the actual game.

Bama won 3 national titles in 4 years. That will change the attitudes of teams. That has rarely been done. It looks like they got their fire back this year, It was missing the last two years.

and when a game against Alabama stops being the super bowl for their opponent. I mean... billboards all across the state saying "Beat Bama"

Ummmmmmmmmm

Was Malzahn not called a Saban-killer and DYNASTY OVER after that first season?

He was.

Colin Cowherd believed Auburn would never lose to Alabama again while Malzahn was there.

Perfectly said.

And when it comes to commentators/radio hosts, what else would people expect? Talking heads don't want to dick ride Bama every week for several years. That won't get ratings. And, like last year, while we weren't the best team, we were still a top 2-3 team. And that can be said pretty much every season, except 2010 (which might've has the most future nfl players on it).

The fact that we have flaws on our team, shows how hard it is maintain that success level. 85 doesn't leave much of a margin of error at certain positions. Qbs are particularly hard to scout. Just look at where most NFL QBs played in college. It's all over the map.

We'll still be rolling along for the next couple years. The conference is too good to win them all. But falls are going to continue to be fun for the next few years.

You can hardly blame people for reacting as they did, losing to Ole Miss generally is a harbinger of great doom.
while true, A billion turnovers and losing By 6 with A Chance To Win at The End Is different,

And My goddamn PHONE is ACTING crazy. It got wet at sanford yesterday.

I'm not convinced. Alabama lost at home in a revenge game to a team that just got skullfricked by Florida, the same team that UT had on the ropes in Gainesville before Butch Jones worked his magic. They'll probably lose to A&M or LSU. And I'm still not sure that something wacky won't happen in the Iron Bowl at JHS.

100 percent agree. I have a feeling Saban had a talk with Kiffin and basically said "We are running the ball you fricking mook!"
