Gerry Dinardo was a great coach. LSU should have kept him around for 10 more years.

Dinardo is actually really underrated as a coach. People tend to lump him in with Curley but he's 10 times the coach Curley was. If Dinardo had done a better job hiring coordinators he might still be the LSU coach today.

i finally figured out what grinding means, it means to "bounce into the endzone". That is what State did to LSU in 1999. you go down at the one yard line and grind your way into the endzone and get called a touchdown.

Or the following year when LaBrandon Toefield fumbles out of the back of the endzone and it gets called a touchdown to send the game into OT.

MSU was the team who tied it to send it into OT.

Well, a broken clock is right every 12 hours so I guess State is due for their every 12th year victory against LSU.

Of course LSU fans forget that one. I use to have the goal line pic of it on my old computer.

I work 12 hours a night.

The play you're talking about might've actually happened in the OT...

He helped turn the club around a bit, got Faulk which was huge, and some pretty good talent. but...

...that's the biggest part of the job, along with recruiting and keeping everyone on the same page. I tend to give Coach Dinardo a bad rap sometimes, which I shouldn't but 3-8 is exactly that, 3-8. The Saban hire worked out pretty good.
