I don't think the refs cheat, they just focus on finding infractions on Bama opponents and any infractions on Bama go directly over their heads. Kinda gets them invited across the street to have breakfast with Nick. Ha!

The rule is illogical and needs to be fixed immediately throughout CFB IMO.

No slight to Bama but it's an administrative rules issue that needs to be fixed. Imagine this same situation happening in the natl championship.

why did they run off 10 seconds and wind the clock after a Bama penalty when Bama had the ball. There was roughly a minute left in the game and it was 4th down.

From ESPN play by play
quote:

3rd and 1 at ARK 43
ALABAMA Penalty, False Start (Arie Kouandjio) to the Ark 48
3rd and 6 at ARK 48
T.J. Yeldon run for 6 yds to the Ark 42 for a 1ST down

Yeldon runs for a 1st down and you say it's 4th down....you want to get the facts and then start over?

Uh pretty sure there was never a first down. I definitely remember it being 4th down.

But ESPN never makes mistakes...

The Razorbacks stopped the Crimson Tide on third-and-7, but the clock runoff allowed Alabama to end the game without running a play on fourth down.
