Yeah really, chavis kept them in a ton of games when that abortion of an offense couldn't score.

A&M fans will find out soon enough that Chavis is always good for a good statistical defense but one that crumbles whenever the game is on the line. That's been a well established trend with him long before he ever stepped foot in Baton Rouge. No one thinks he's a bad coordinator, but he certainly has a gigantic flaw in changing his game plan in a two minute drill

Stillborn.

They should have aborted it, but they didn't. So it was stillborn.

Yes, but they failed at the most important thing in life - not being a Longhorn.

I didn't read your post, and even if I did I wouldn't know what this refers to. Oddly, the TCU-aTm rivalry never peaked my interest.

Seriously, it took ND, A&M, Alabama, Arkansas, Ole Miss, UK, and Florida to score more touchdowns against Chavis than it did for WVU in one game against Steele.

Do yall have any other argument besides this one? You damn well know there is more to it then that.

Sounds like a massive improvement over what we had.

Ole Miss - Down by one score in 4Q, D surrenders an 8 MINUTE scoring drive
Arkansas - with 1:18 remaining, 41 yard FG for OT after D surrenders go-ahead TD

8 - # of times Chavis saved LSU's arse
7 - # of times Chavis bent over for opponent
4 - # of times the offense saved Chavis's arse
4 - # of times the opponent saved Chavis's arse
2 - # of times an "effort play" saved Chavis's arse

I don't think they see it that way though.

I watched a lot of LSU games over the years where the offense looked impotent and the defense won the game for them.

For years we heard how great Chief was, now he's gone and folks want to waste time and energy like the OP and draw up a spreadsheet showing the deficiencies of the defense in crunch time.
