Dabo practically roots for Alabama publicly

He will be our perfect sacrificial lamb. Once we are done with him and Patterson comes, you can have him back.

frick Alabama but you're crazy if you don't think Dabo would crawl to Tuscaloosa if they came calling.

I don't see how Bama is a better spot to be for recruiting. Clemson is halfway b/t Charlotte and Atlanta and a more appealing location near lakes and the mountains. He's recruiting well at Clemson, he's well paid and would get paid more if ALabama tried to get him. Dabo seems happy at Clemson and he's not going to want to be the guy who follows Saban because Bama fans are pyschoes and would want to fire him after a year if they don't win a title.

keep in mind Dabo took Saban to school on his opposition to hurry up offenses. People at Bama remember that. lol

you best friends with Dabo?

not everybody is fascinated with Alabama. He's been at Clemson 13 years, probably twice as long as his time at Bama.

they won't offer Dabo anyway, Bama will go after somebody slick.

If he does leave, it isn't going to hurt Clemson unless we hire Muschamp. lol

You are crazy if you think Dabo has more allegiance to Clemson over Alabama. I don't care what he says in public. If Alabama offers him is a completely different question.

Look at Johnny Majors for example. He built Pittsburgh into a powerhouse and won a national title there but when Tennessee called, he was on the first plane to Knoxville. That was home.

ETA: I can't believe you're making me defend Alabama right now.

wut does that even mean?? it gets said a lot on here but I have no idea what it means. sounds kind of perverted.

I'm just telling you that it doesn't seem likely Dabo would go to Alabama unless he's not getting along with the athletic director, etc. I think he has loyalty. If the Clemson program wasn't doing well, he would bolt. But that isn't the scenario. He can recruit at Clemson and I believe he can recruit at Clemson better than at Alabama. He doesn't have NFl experience like Saban does which is why Saban gets all those players.

We've been getting a lot of good players out of the northeast lately and that will be harder to do in Ttown

You don't know Dabo. Stop telling me what Dabo is going to do. He has been at Clemson longer, it gave him a chance to be the coach even though he was only a WRs coach prior. In my opinion, it would look bad for him to leave the program for a little more money. I don't Dabo is similar to what's his face the OC at Alabama now. That OC is likely the frontrunner for replacement job especially if they win a title this year or next.

Yet we're the only team in SEC history to have a 3000 yard passer, two 1000 yard receivers and a 1000 yard rusher in the same year. 2013

If he wasn't an Aggie, he would already be in Austin.

However after this year, unfortunately he will be offered so much money to coach the sips, he will not be able to turn it down.

His Achilles heel is overly creative short yardage and red zone play calling. He makes Cutcliffe look sane in those situations. Otherwise he's fantastic.

And now Bama is playing some HUNH/spread . I'm sure Saban said some things about Bama while at LSU. You just aren't very good at this college football stuff.

Or Saban is a hypocrite. He wanted to ban an offense simply because he didn't like coaching against it.

I was surprised a great coach like Saban was making that argument. It seemed like something a Maryland coach would say.

I seem to hold my own.

All coaches are hypocrites. They will do what they have to if it will give them an advantage. Fans are hypocrites too for that matter.

give an example of Dabo hypocrisy.

speak for yourself as a fan. it never occurred to me that a type of offense or defense played within the rules should be banned.

Why does an Aubbie person care to speak for Saban on here. You are doing college sports all wrong. lol
