Of course Alabama fans are missing the point!! Yes Coach O coached at Ole Miss and was a failure, but my point is Alabama would of NEVER hired Saban if it wasn't for LSU hiring him and proving what he could do at a place that had potential. Notice I said potential. Ole Miss even with it's cheating and such could not even win the division. Some schools have potential and some do not. If you don't believe that YOUR not a football fan. Michigan St did not have as much potential and Saban was just average there. This point is not about coach O as everyone will have time to judge him when he actually coaches a full year. As I recall LSU's and Alabama's first year with Saban was not lights out!!!

L6u for sure.

They haven't been close to winning the SECW for 5 years now, it's been 10 years since their last NC. The program is no longer considered elite as evidenced from this past years hiring process where they got turned down, used and abused by Herman and all the other available coaches worth a piss pot and got stuck with Ed Oeauxno.

without a former LSU coach. How unoriginal to hire your rivals coach. Haha

Ask the players about rivalry not a bunch of retards on a sports board and get the answer. For certain, Alabama players and coaches see LSU as a rival outside of auburn obviously.

Do you even Ole Miss, bro? They were a college football power in the 50s and 60s and haven't done anything since integration.

That's usually how it works. Bryant would have never been hired at Alabama had he not proven himself at Kentucky and Texas A&M first.

Arkansas will never get the talent to be successful Long term unless they take notes from Ole Miss.

And even that didn't last long.

Nope, not a rival. It was an important game, the most for a few years but those days have passed. Now L6u is only a speed bump on the way to the SECCG and with Captain Caveman Oeauxno at the helm that ships sinking even faster.

Arkansas basketball is showing a pulse again. Do I think Coach Anderson will win a NC here? Probably not, but it's nice to be winning at a high percentage again. All I want is consistency. Maybe these upcoming recruiting classes will ball out.

Football.. We will always be at a disadvantage in regards to recruiting. With that said, we have the resources to be better than what we have seen recently. I like Bielema, but it's time for him to put up or shut up. Still pissed off at Jeff Long for giving him that ridiculous buyout. He didn't deserve it.

This particular site has many thousands of LSU fans on it, so it's the easiest fanbase to troll.

Shitposting aside, AU is gonna be legit this year.

LSU can get there if they catch a few breaks and will be everything we can handle come November, but on paper AU is better.

Facts can be misleading...Auburn had a chance to win the west in November last year and went to a New Year's 6 bowl. Since we worry more about championships than winning games it felt like a disappointment, but the facts remain the same until mid November Auburn had an opportunity to win the SEC.

Well that's because it was. The SEC was weak last year.
