2006 - #1 Ohio State vs. #2 UF

UF held OSU and Heisman Trophy winner Troy Smith to 87 total yards.

That game started the SEC's run of dominance.

You guys are kinda figs for still being so proud of that after all the titles won after that season

I guess that's the highlight of the Saban era for Bama fans making tebow cry haha pathetic

And I havent really cared about tebow since the Broncos season

Plus to take so much pride in it is stupid if nyou know football

All the game plan had to be was don't let Hernandez get open and don't let tebow run

Demps and Rainey were 170lb tops haha I knew were doomed going into it

Another good one was Auburn vs Mizzou's rush defense in 2013.

Auburn ran for 545 yards and 7 TD and 7.7 ypc
Tre Mason alone had 304 yards and 4 TD
3 different players had runs over 40 yards and 5 different players had runs over 20 yards

What were Mizzou's offensive numbers on Aubrun's defense that day?

It was a frick fest of no defesne. Im pretty sure both teams are now in the top 5 total offense in SEC championship game history becasue of that game.

The winning and losing team both ended up in the top 5 of total offense for one game.....

AU vs. USC is the correct answer. That was so pitiful to watch. Auburn did what they wanted with no resistance whatsoever. 56-17 is shameful for a championship game.

Football: 2011 SEC Championship game, LSU 42 Georgia 10. Tigers outscored UGA 35-0 in the second half.

Baseball: 1997 CWS championship game, LSU 13 Bama 6. Bama was down 9 - 0 before they even knew what hit them.

Yeah, y'all's ground game was an absolute force that year.

Georgia whipped Arky in the 02 SECCG. Score was like 30-3 but it was way worse than the scoreboard indicated

It should've been a rematch with us if not for Fulmer snitching.

Nebraska also beat us by over 30 points in a game that decided the (AP at least) national title. I know that feel.

Don't forget Dubose beating Spurrier 35-7 in the 99 SEC title game.

Were you watching back in the 90s when Stallings could've won 6 SEC titles in 7 years if not for fricking Spurrier?

1995 SEC CG...a buddy of mine got free tickets. That is the only SEC CG I have been to in person. Florida wiped the floor with Arkansas 34-3.

2005 SECCG - UGA upsets LSU 34-14

I remember walking into the Fan Zone in the Georgia World Congress Center and actually feeling intimidated by how many LSU fans were there and how sure they were that they were going to own this game (they were 10-1 and primed to return to the BCS title game if they'd won

No, we had no chance at the BCS title game, win or lose. USC and Texas were #1 and #2, and were likely to remain ahead of LSU in the BCS standings even if they lost that day. Also, even if they lost and somehow did fall behind LSU, Penn State was #3 and would have gone into the game ahead of LSU. The only possibility was for both Texas and USC to lose and somehow both fall behind us, which would not have happened. Also, earlier that day, Texas had already beaten Colorado 70-3, so even the one shred of hope there might have been was gone.

UGA was ranked #13 and had dropped a couple of close games to Florida and Auburn while DJ Shockley was hurt

Shockley was hurt for the Florida game, but Auburn? I'm not sure that's right.
