Where are the 5 star players? Who are the 1st round talents?

Petrino > Bert
But will will know better in 2 years when Bert is about on his way out for lack of winning.

Is it more like 3rd tier players at best? He sure as hell doesn't have first tier player like the elite programs in the conference . You can tell from his recruiting ranking and the future drafts.

Exactly and they act like he's some mad scientist that can shell out consecutive 10 win seasons. Tone it down a bit.

True. I'm sure he'd jump at the opportunity to coach at a football school.

He was ready to leave for the NFL as the Dolphins head coach. All they had to do was draft Russell Wilson as their QB. I would think that alone probably gives him the street cred to earn his 4 million in the college ranks.

As for our W/L record, if anyone who is being realistic does not see what a dumpster fire our program was after the bike wreck and following SMILE! season then I'm not sure what to tell you.

On top of that, he jumped in the most difficult division of the most dominant conference during the football golden age. I never expected him to come in and win out of the gate, however the kids are playing hard and competing every day. I believe that the talent gap between other teams is closing compared to his first 2 years.

I really like that he takes no BS from his players. They are students first and must work toward that degree. My only rant will be that if he wears the windbreakers as a superstitious bit, then he just needs to go with the cutoff hoodies like Belichick.

I would rather have 8-10 third to fourth round players than a couple 1st round type players. Don't know what that has to do with anything.

Bielema has proven that he can win. The first season you have to give him a pass on. He won at Wisconsin and he is proving he can win at Arkansas. More deserving of the money than Sumlin for sure.
