it is going to be such a glorious day, a day when Bama football comes back down to normalcy

While I grant you Bama is on a run unprecedented by not only them, but any other program, their present state of affairs is much closer to their historical norm than the decade of 1997-2006 that LSU fans like to remember with such fondness.

He must have put a roofie in Chaisson's Gumbo on NSD, I thought he was UT bound. Hell if it was not for Auburn hiring big cat's coach Bryant would have ended up in BR to go with Phillips, Taylor and Chaisson.

However the BEST thing about his hire, by far, is ... a huge reduction in idiotic posts by LSU fans about "we are going to be unstoppable,"...

Few earn Misanthrope's Idiot award. Welcome to that exclusive club. In fact you may actually be the first. Also, your post qualifies as whistling while walking past a graveyard. Scared?

It's quite comical seeing posters such as yourself who continue to remind this board where the elite HS talent resides. The UA is very fortunate right now that the "Bama brand" is in high demand. If the school had to rely more heavily on in-state recruiting it would struggle to field a complete team.

Your recruiting class this year was the lowest rated one for LSU in six years
Woah slow down... LSU only signed 23 players in this class. It's only math. You failed to mention that this class had the highest Avg. Player Rating out of the last 6 recruiting years (.9144). Signing a #7 class with a mid year HC change should be viewed as respectable (even by you).
quote:

The players that know your coaching staff best, the LHSAA ones, ran like quail, mostly to Alabama. And if you think those out of state players are going to do well inside the river-parish-culture of the LSU football team, well... when was time an out of state player carried LSU? 2007?

Now, if you head over to Tidefans, you won't have anywhere near the mindless LSU posts to upset you. Something to consider IMO.

it would certainly be good riddance.

When you're drawing fire, you know you're over the target. And this air space is wall to wall flak.
