SEC titles were unchanged by changes in the National Title method.

Are we instead going to focus on the Big 5 starting with 1992 (the first SECCG)?

The BCS was basically a 2-team play-off...it was much better than the old bowl system which rarely produced a 1 vs. 2 match-up. There were some years where the BCS produced some funky results, but I think they got it right more often than they got it wrong. Now a 4-team play-off is better than 2 but there are still gonna be flaws, as was shown last year. Think if/when they go to 8 teams, there shouldn't be near as much controversy...
