Wondered in the other thread if finishing dead last among a division* in football, men's basketball and baseball in the same academic year had ever been done.

It has been done once.

2012-13 by Auburn.

Auburn poised to do the improbable twice in four years.

*- Edited to make the Auburn basketball purists happy.

Missouri saved you from being last in the entire league.

Go ahead and make this technicality argument. You know exactly what you did. You finished dead last amongst the West schools.

The Auburn trifecta is a thing of lore. Like unicorns or dragons. I thought it was impossible, but when I did the research, it was only fitting that the only time it had ever happened, it was Auburn.

I will tell my grandchildren that I lived in a time where Auburn pulled off the Auburn trifecta twice in a four year period. They will laugh at me and tell me that the Auburn trifecta is impossible.

It's not a technical argument. You laid the foundation for this thread, one that you were completely wrong in. Sorry you don't know how basketball works.

You said division and that is wrong. There is only one division in basketball. Don't ask the question and then change the parameters.

Football - 7th in west
Baseball - 7th in west
Basketball - 13th in league

I'm not sure that improves the image at all.

My guess is that something's gonna hit the fan if the football, basketball and baseball teams do this next year.

SEC Equestrian Champions, bro.

Are the horses or the riders consider the student-athletes?

It's going to be funny when MSU gets back to their old ways and finishes last this season. Or is that Ole Miss or Arkansas? Bottom three anyway
