If I understand your argument correctly, it is unreasonable for those teams that... you know... actually gave enough a shite to win their bowl games to be happy with the results.

Better we should be bitterly disappointed like... say... Auburn and lament the fact that our coach went full retard and cost us the game.

Well... OK then. I am deeply.... deeply upset that Arkansas improved its win total and won its bowl game. If only we could be a shame to the SEC West like the rest of you Old Guard schools.

Gotcha. I'll pass the memo on to Texas A&M and we promise to suck as badly as you guys do from here on out.

STFU

Nobody is happy with the record. It's the progress.

TTs mad that Gus has Auburn back to his average 8-5 results.

I remember the score being tied going into halftime and Gus lifting the suspensions of a couple players.

He cared more about beating Arkansas than he ever has about winning a bowl.

Apparently the only way to become an elite program is to shite the bed in your bowl game because that shows everyone else that meaningless bowl games are beneath you.

And all bowls are meaningless except for the national championship. Auburn, in a desperate bid to become more elite than Alabama, nails it in during the championship last year.

Because what better way to show you're too cool for school than by phoningit in during the championship?

If shitting your pants on national TV is cool, consider me Miles Davis.

long time aggie trait. by the time the first game rolls around y'all convince yourself you're NC material. and if you win your first tough game, all hell breaks loose. if you're old enough to have witnessed 20 or 30 seasons you will agree with me.

Arkansas fans? Georgia fans? Texas A&M fans? Mizzou fans? All seem to be OK with the ending result of the season.

No. We were all just happy to see the arrogance of the West come to roost on you. Crap...who would've been happy with the way your seasons went, and more to the point, how your season ended. Every last one of you lost except South Carolina and the rest of their season was a dumpster fire. Add to that they are seeing their recruits jump ship left and right. (Sorry, SC.)

The west ran around talking about how they were the stuff and the west was GOAT and on and on and on. So, yes. Everybody else is happy to see you eat a nice helping of humble pie. We, on the other hand have a LOT to look forward to. We won our bowl game. We are putting together a nice recruiting class and we watched as the arrogant west got shown just how good they really are. Only an Auburn fan would perceive this as anything different.

In fairness I saw NC being mentioned by more than one lSU fan the past couple of off seasons. EVERY fan base thinks they have a chance. It's the off season, after all and we a re all undefeated.

Not going to lie, there is truth in this post. But hell, we're fans. We have no control over what happens on the field. We only have hope. Lots of positive signs for next season.

We won 11 games after losing a ton of great players and never really getting the offense going.

Yeah, I'm happy with the season overall. Wish we wouldn't have lost any, but it was a good year.

Why the hell shouldn't Arky be excited? They went from terrible last year to better than their record showed and a bowl win this year. They got better every game. Damn straight they ought to be excited. I hate Arky as much as the next guy, byt c'mon.

Lotta dumbass there OP.

Auburn- Picked #2W, pre-season #6, week 16 #19, went 8-5, and lost their bowl game. Probably will not finish in the top 25.

Alabama- Picked #1W, pre-season #2, week 16 #1, went 12-2, and lost their bowl game. Probably will not finish in the top 5.

Ole Miss- Picked #4W, pre-season #18, week 16 #9, went 10-3, was embarrassed in their bowl game. Will not finish in the top 10.

Mississippi State- Picked #5W, pre-season N/R, week 16 #8, went 10-3, was embarrassed in their bowl game. Will not finish in the top 10.

LSU- Picked #3W, pre-season #13, week 16 #22, went 8-5, and lost their bowl game. Probably will not finish top 25.

South Carolina- Picked #1E, pre-season #9, week 16 N/R, went 7-6, won their bowl. Will be lucky to finish ranked.

Disappointing? Yes, I would say so.

-------------------------------------------------

Arkansas- Picked #7W, pre-season N/R, week 16 N/R, went 7-6, won their bowl. Probably will not finish ranked.

Georgia- Picked #2E, pre-season #12, week 16 #13, went 10-3, won bowl game. Will finish at or higher than their pre-season rank.

Texas A&M- Picked #6W, pre-season #21, week 16 N/R, went 8-5, won their bowl game. Probably will finish in the top 25.

Missouri- Picked #4E, pre-season #24, week 16 #16, went 11-3, and won their bowl game. Will finish in the top 15.

Ok with their seasons? Yeah, why not.

I expect lsu to win 8 games a year for the entire century. This would be the greatest college football achievement in history.

You think 10-3 is a disappointing season for State?
Wow.
