And you best player in Kirk was a complete non factor.
The players at LSU made Chavis look good, until he keep making bonehead defensive decisions against Bama and lost those games for us.

Meh, we couldn't survive in recruiting like some people if we tried to get a coach fired to the point he is carried off the field because everyone assumes it's his last game. We don't have a state full of people who will blackball the player's families if they don't sign with us, a lot of Texans aren't Aggies. Therefore we have to be more careful in our decisions.

No we wouldn't trade Chief for Aranda. It's not like we went after Aranda and settled for Chief.

No LSU fan seriously thought Steele was an upgrade over Chavis regardless of what message board posters said.
However, with Aranda many believe he has the potential to be better than Chavis was his last few years at LSU, and I don't think that's unreasonable. He put together really strong defenses with much less talent than LSU has. However, he also has the potential to be a bust and leave LSU looking for a new DC in a few years. He'll likely fall somewhere in the middle, but if he can get our defense playing as well as Chavis had us playing, I'll take him every day over Chavis if he can recruit at all.

Aggies are melting so hard about Aranda
Making it 6 in a row while passing for under 100yds running for 300yds and stuffing Knights head in the ground is going to be wonderful this season.

LF will run for 150+ and score twice against Aggy and that'll be enough if past history tells us anything about Aggy scoring in this game.

I guess ATM has to hang their assless chaps on something. Congrats on getting Chavis. Now that a full season has passed and Steele is no longer our burden most of us couldn't care less about Chavis.
