Just stating, for the record- Before the season i said i really think the Aggies would be the surprise team in football this year and could see them winning 10 or 11 games and was laughed off the board.

i said i thought they had the best WR's and DL in the SEC and was laughed off the board

I said Wednesday on here that I thought they would beat Arky by 14+ and was laughed at.

I said the turkey night game vs LSU wouldnt be a layup for LSU like fans think and was laughed at.

I want nothing more than the Aggies to go 6-6, but im just saying it looks like i was right and it will be between them and Bama for the west. Looks like they are here to stay and will be a thorn in our side for a while.

Sucks because Aggy fans are insufferable.

The good news is that Sumlin will get an extension and that's one less place we have to battle Herman for

Please take that LSU off your name and put that aggie sticker up. It's pathetic how much you suck them off

I am a Homer but honestly felt Aggies would be a lot better.

I don't think the commentators gave any thought to the improvement from bringing in a new OC, OL, and run game defense Coach, Dave Turner.

No one is allowed to say Aggy is for real until Aggy is 10-0.

The only thing that would concern me is their secondary.

They struggled against our receivers.

I agree. I posted this back in mid August

quote:

I have said before, and I think A&M is the surprise team out of the West this year. I say that because of their schedule, a senior quarterback, excellent receivers, and a serviceable defense. Very favorable Road schedule, also, with the exception of at Tuscaloosa.

I see the Aggies winning 9 at least, and with some good play early, they could be undefeated heading into Tuscaloosa.

We didn't cover that well but Allen was a big part of the problem. He didn't just roll out... He sprinted out away from backside pressure and still threw accurately. Ags would have had 5 more sacks if he wasn't t so fast. Allen threw darts last night when he wasn't getting hit.

They've followed this exact same pattern for the last 3-4 years where they start out strong and end with a massive thud.

Not at all sold on them yet.

They have a favorable schedule rest of the way. They are favored in every game except Bama and they match up really well vs Bama

Aggy returns whole team next year too so they aren't going anywhere.

I don't think Tennessee can beat them in college station with it being the week before Bama.

I ain't falling for this shite like last year. Hogs are overrated, and we are a top 15 team with issues. IF we could throw the ball at all, we'd be seriously good.

If we have to rely on Knight's arm we are screwed.

A little bit of this. I will say we do look different and have a different way of offensive production. There is reason for optimism but it's well measured.

I hear this over and over again, and rightfully so, but it has really been only the last 2 years. This team is different, we can all feel it. I would bet we go at least 10-2.
