Vegas opening line has UF favored over TAM, just like they had UF favored against LSU. Game day the line reversed where LSU was the favorite. I see no way that UF remains favored by Saturday. You can fool some of the people some of the time but you can't fool a shitty offense.

The gameday atmosphere in the Swamp has really declined. He is quickly losing fan support.

It has. And that was sadly one of the louder games. Its nothing like ten years ago. No one is excited anymore. We are literally there only because we love UF. We don't actually enjoy this shite. I had more fun pregame and during a tribute than the entire game safe two drives.

The problem with McElwain is not the home losses, its the narrow victories against teams UF is used to blowing out.

This plus some ugly losses to elite teams like Alabama, FSU and Michigan. At face value, his record's not that bad - or at least not bad enough for people to be calling for his head after 2.5 seasons. The problem I see is UF just doesn't ever look like a team that's a legitimate playoff contender or on the path to becoming one.

Seems like UF is 2 years ahead of where LSU could be with Orgeron. Team isn't good, isn't getting better, but wins enough to keep status quo. Hate that (for LSU). Neither team is winning anything meaningful with the current HCs.

McElwain's home games:

New Mexico State
ECU
Tennessee x2
Ole Miss
Vandy x2
FAU
FSU
UMass
Kentucky
Missouri
USC
LSU

2015 FSU and Ole Miss are really the only two good teams they played at home in the last 3 years.

We might only win one or two more games this year. I don’t care what his excuses are he will be on the hot seat at 5-6 or 6-5.
