And Alabama was awarded a championship as well for 1941. There is no need to be upset.

Except that they didn't play in a championship game for that 'award'.
I also notice that the NCAA recognizes LSU as champions in football for 1908 whereas LSU does not acknowledge that title.
So to set you straight, LSU acknowledging the 1908 title would be like Alabama acknowledging the 1941 title. LSU is above that, unlike Alabama.
If you put your emotions aside for a moment, I think it'll be clear to you that LSU acknowledging the 1935 title for basketball is not like Alabama claiming the 1941 title in football. After all, Alabama didn't even get a mulligan for the '41 loss to MSU and finished with one more loss than MSU.
LSU acknowledging 1935 in basketball is more akin to Alabama acknowledging the 1925 title in football as Rose Bowl winners - which I see as legit.

For a fan of a team that didn't win shite before 1980, I can see why you lack understanding in this discussion.
