For being the example as to why NIL/Transfer Portal procedures should be drastically revised. Once the rest of the SEC is finished picking you guys apart and you have to field actual 3&4 stars on the field next season one would assume it will be the narrative that shifts CFB back into some form of sanity.

So cheers to you guys, your open pantry full of juicy starters and the GOAT for leaving the program high and dry.

Sadly, Washington is in much worse shape than Bama. Bama’s getting all the attention due to the publicity of Saban’s retirement being the first domino.

I suspect things will change soon. The current model is not sustainable.

You’d think that, but likely not.

Why? Because people are taking bama recruits and thats not allowed? No mention of stealing GT's best Running back or cherry picking from other's rosters in the past few years, but heaven forbid other teams start poaching 5 star players from your team.

Bama had a hell of a ride, cheating without consequences. Now "cheating" is allowed for everyone and your competitive advantage is gone. Get bent bama fans.

You mean where a few teams get to stockpile all the five stars?

I don't really mind this new version. It allows teams like Tulane a chance at some great talent, instead of getting beat up by it.

I agree, I like more parity. I’m not complaining at all. Hopefully we get some sort of salary cap to further spread out the talent.

They want collective bargaining to establish an NIL cap. Then after the legitimate NIL is established, they can slip in keys to a Dodge Charger under the table to sweeten the deal.

Bama fans know that it isnt NIL money thats getting signatures. ITs those back room deals where cigar smoke and fat stacks call the shots.

NIL just provides the cover.

They know it, we know it. Just happens that bama graduates dont make what Auburn graduates make out of college. Bunch of poors

Dodge stopped making them. However, Saban will be sending in shipments of Mercedes G-Wagons.

No, there are a multitude of problems with what we’re currently seeing.

First, when a coach is fired, quits, or retires, the portal window opens for all players on the roster for 30 days, but the school is only allowed to rebuild their roster from players currently in the portal. Since this typically happens outside of the normal portal window, this means the school is pretty much handcuffed and unable to rebuild their rosters until the Spring portal window, which doesn’t open until after spring practice.

This is largely why Brian Kelly had to go through an entire offseason and spring with what amounted to the equivalent of severe NCAA recruiting sanctions and why Washington will enter spring practice this year with probably 1-2 players remaining from their starting 22.

Second, there are no regulations, caps, or rules on how much collectives can pay for recruits. That price will continue to increase in an arms race. Here’s some news for you - that’s not good news for the Auburns of the world. Texas, Texas A&M, Oregon, etc. will be setting the market value. The only thing protecting the rest of us is the scholarship limit.

Saban in his nice new office will be the last one a recruit visits. A Mercedes would be a wonderful enticement to seal the deal

Maybe your coach shouldnt lie to recruits to get them signed, then abandon them after early signing day.

At the end of a visit a recruit walks out of the facility and Saban is sitting there with a nice new, fully equipped G-Wagon. He looks at the recruit and says: “Get in.” They then drive to Archibald’s for ribs.

Commitment sealed.

Not a single one of those guys have entered the portal, so I’m not sure that’s the best argument here.

NCAA didn't care and Gumptards laughed.

Now that its happening to the Gumps, it's all of a sudden a problem.
