Texas Tech stacked the line numerous times to limit Lsu run game. If you watched the game carefully Lsu o-line did a master job creating holes with all sorts of O-linemen picking up blocks and creating space. Stop the hate already.

I think you are on the right track, but it's a little more complex than that. If you have a certain number of 3 or 4 stars on the o-line for TT, they may play better up front and be able to keep the d-line's pressure in check somewhat. Even TT gets some 3 star recruits and an occasional 4 star recruit. They would need an experienced more capable QB who gets rid of the ball in an instant against a rush like LSU's. I was surprised that they didn't run more screens or shovel passes at the line of scrimmage to offset the aggressive pass rush from LSU. It may not have mattered in the end result but they could have sustained drives and the game would not have been too big of a blowout, because you keep Fournette off the field.

If Texas Tech had a defense they'd be a pretty tough team. Maybe they can run hire Chief ?

A coaching hire wont change the talent on the field.

TT is a small fish in the state of Texas recruiting wise.

I honestly believe if LSU was in the Big 12, they would average 40 PPG.Their defenses are that bad. Fournette would put up Barry Sanders type numbers in that conference.
